The bags are made from Ikat patterned cotton. The inside compartment is lined with cotton and has a zipped pocket.

Ikat is a method for colouring fabric in patterns by tie dyeing the warp. The dye then colours the yarn everywhere except under the binding. After dyeing, the bindings are removed and the pattern appears undyed on a coloured warp. The yarn is then woven into fabric.
